About Port Hunter 4x4 ClubThe Port Hunter 4x4 Club is a friendly club based in the Lake Macquarie & Newcastle region of NSW, Australia. The Club generally puts on one or more trips per month to various 4WD and camping destinations and offers capable instruction on 4WD technique during these trips. For ease of communications and safety, everyone attending is required to have a UHF radio (Channel 10) on board. As a club, we strongly support "Tread Lightly" ideals and consciously endeavour to make as minimal an impact as possible on the terrain we travel through. Our Club also supports the community we live in. Prospective members are made more than welcome on club trips as visitors, with the exception of red trips. We are a not for profit organisation and are funded by membership fees and fundraising. Port Hunter 4x4 Club is a member of Four Wheel Drive NSW & ACT.
